Three Generations of Experience: A Reason to Choose Salonwear by Dencowear
We found out that not a lot of you know that Salonwear is a brand from our company Dencowear. So we thought we'd give you a little background about who your uniforms come from.
Den-Co-Wear originated from the garment 'Dental Coat'.
It was a Cossack style Dental Jacket that Louis Shinwell (our current owners Grandfather) brought back from America in 1966, seeing a demand in the UK for this style.
This led to the founding of Dencowear where we would sell Cossack style Dental coats, and a handful of different clinical styles, to Dentists listed in the Dental Registry Book and became very well-known.
In 1999, the idea of Salonwear was born and became a huge hit for Dencowear as the Salon uniforms became increasingly popular! We began selling by 2000 and will celebrate 20 years of trading under that brand name in 2020.
Since, the company has grown and developed greatly and we now supply you with high quality garments, in many styles, to a variety professions in the healthcare and beauty industry.
