From the Archive: The Hottest Colours for Summer 2015

Are colours the most important aspect of an item of clothing? They're certainly one of them! Here at Salonwear, we have been exploring the "hottest colours this summer" and how we can provide you with reliable, high quality uniforms in these colours.

Cherry Red

A colour seen throughout New York Fashion Week is Cherry Red. A striking and powerful colour, it is perfect for packing an impact and 'power dressing' in style.

Designers such as Zac Posen and Donna Karan both incorporated the cherry red colour in their designs at the fashion week and since then it has become a lot more popular than first expected, despite the seasonal change.

At Salonwear we have a range of products that are available in shades similar to this “Cherry Red” including the above Couture Dress and Glow Tunic as well as our ever-popular Belle Tunic..

Sky Blue / Ice Blue

One thing that New York Fashion Week taught us was that Ice Blue is very popular at the moment. Similar to Sky Blue in its appearance, this light colour is something that already fits in nicely with the spa, aesthetic and healthcare industries.

Blue is the colour of purity and it gives a sense of calm, peace and tranquillity. It is why nurses and other healthcare and beauty professionals have been wearing the shade for many years.

Designers such as Honor, Zimmermann and Christian Siriano all used items of this colour during the fashion week. At Salonwear we’ve also got several products in this colour such as the Delamere Tunic and Mercia Tunic above. Both of these tunics offer a classic, traditional look and feature navy contrast, vents and a concealed zip and press stud fastening.

While Red and Blue have proved to be popular, they're not the only ones! Check out our website: www.salonweardirect.co.uk to see which colours would best suit you.
